Do you listen to audiobooks? - 2xTheTap115 - May 7, 2022

Hey guys👋

As in the topic, do you like to listen to audiobooks, and if so, what application for streaming books do you use?

I myself have been using Storytel and Audioteka for several years. Both applications have rich libraries, and the quality of recordings is at the highest level. Another plus is the multitude of book genres available, so every fan of belleristics will find something for themselves😁
Applications that are perfect for listening during long walks / household chores and simply as entertainment for long boring evenings👌😊

I admit that I did not know that there is such an audiobook, I will have to make up for it😅
And I highly recommend you to listen to some books, it's a very addictive entertainment. And it makes the time at work great👌

I do not read books anymore, but while I was in school, I found it easier to read alongside the narrator. Some of narrators put decent impressions on and it was nice hearing someone else's voice other than my own.

Yes, it is true, a well-conducted narrative as well as the narrator's voice can make even the heaviest book a pleasure to get to know😊
I recommend you to try audiobooks. This is an ideal solution for anyone who doesn't like / has no time to read👌

I rather prefer to read a book than listening to an audiobook, I also appreciate to own books, and to see them filling my bookcase

You are right, this is the great advantage of printed books over digital versions. However, I greatly appreciate mobility in audiobooks😁

Are those applications not in English? looked at their website and seems not.

Anyways, I just stick to audible or download the mp3. Probably need a good app to play/save the mp3s

Nope just not my thing. :(

RE: Do you listen to audiobooks? - Athr - May 7, 2022

I like to read books on my Kindle as it has the dictionary feature.
Sometimes I need to look up some words as English isn't my first language.

Yes, these applications are not in English, however, they have e-books / audiobooks in English in their collections👌
