Deploying python code with highest safety on the code implementation - mikehack - May 8, 2022 Hi fellows, how can I deploy my own library created in Python on Windows or Linux without providing the source code. The reason is that I want to use it in future as production code. So in my case I would only to provide the function or method delarations and not the implementation. How can I achieve this security deployment? I know that there is a pyc file which encrypts the code, but I have read that it is possible with some expense to dencrypt it. That is not what I need. RE: Deploying python code with highest safety on the code implementation - 3phase - May 9, 2022 Assuming that is possible with your solution, you can build API over your code and sell it as SAAS if your code is located somewhere on the client side, there is no 100% secure way to deploy it. it's not something easy for the average user, but if needed, reverse engineering python code is relatively "easy" RE: Deploying python code with highest safety on the code implementation - mikehack - May 9, 2022 Thank you. I assumed that there was a way without providing the possibility of reverse engineering. But ok python is open-source so it is difficult to find a way to secure your code after deploying it. In my case my target was to create my library and upload it on a private repo and provide only the applications (without access to the lib code) I created via a public repo. |
