Will UST recover? - xVulnerable - May 15, 2022 What are your thoughts on UST? I had a big chunk of my portfolio in UST, around 30%, panic sold at $0.75. EDIT: I was contemplating about selling at 5 or 10% loss but still had faith at the time. I knew there was a risk holding UST but did not like the idea of keep doing bank transfers every time I get some UST. Now luna is literally worthless. Is there anyway UST to repeg if LUNA never makes it? (Which it's not.) Who is going to mind UST to a worthless coin? What do you guys think will UST (NOT TERRA) repeg? Deep down I don't want it to since I've already sold mine at a loss. RE: Will UST recover? - cloudz4me - May 15, 2022 saw whale wallet still holding 900k ust from a 4M.maybe he thinks ust can still recover RE: Will UST recover? - SIM-2501407 - May 15, 2022 It is a worthless coin... RE: Will UST recover? - YUNG - May 15, 2022 Personally, seeing what happened would of happened sooner or later. Better sooner than later I guess. For you, not the ponzi scheme the creator spewed up. The apy returns were insane... like unsustainable insane. It would of been a great time for the pump and dump ppls :DD but yeah terrible project. Good animation on their videos I give them that lol haahahah. RE: Will UST recover? - The Broker - May 15, 2022 Bro you need some education before investing, I don't mean to offend but jeez you need to be responsible with you money Wym with that "repeg" or "depeg"? economics doesn't work that way, its not that you have some magic button that you click and shit gets back to where it was UST was a ponzi scheme that sheeps and "lunatics" have trusted, literally shit coin with fake ponzi protocol The only reason people invested in UST was luna & 20% annual ponzi gains, its gone so UST gone aswell RE: Will UST recover? - xVulnerable - May 15, 2022 (May 15, 2022 05:44 AM)The Broker Wrote: Bro you need some education before investing, I don't mean to offend but jeez you need to be responsible with you money I don't think there is any hard evidence that it's a ponzi scheme. I'm not expert. Since know all I heard were rumors. Sometimes I don't know what to belive. RE: Will UST recover? - molly69 - May 15, 2022 The bond of trust between investors has been broken. I don't think UST and Luna has a bright future. You don't need to be an expert or have any evidence to spot a ponzi scheme When theres 100$ in deposits and someone promises you 20% yearly on that money, that money can just come out of the air so basically the new investors are paying for old investors profit RE: Will UST recover? - xVulnerable - May 15, 2022 (May 15, 2022 06:15 AM)The Broker Wrote: You don't need to be an expert or have any evidence to spot a ponzi scheme Easy to say that after it happened. Not saying it's not a ponzi but I'd rather read offical facts. RE: Will UST recover? - YUNG - May 15, 2022 (May 15, 2022 06:51 AM)xVulnerable Wrote: Easy to say that after it happened. Thats like saying I need to verbally say I'm robbing you. When in fact it already happened... It dont work like that man.. Youll eventually hear about it when it surfaces in mainstream news RE: Will UST recover? - th3c0rrupt3d0n3 - May 16, 2022 UST is dead. There is a 0.0001% you will recover any value. Take the loss and move on. I took a big hit in $ value but not in % value, thankfully. Still a good lesson to make more research on the dynamics of protocols. Don't worry about the money. There's always time to make more of it :) And fyi UST/Anchor was not a ponzi scheme by definition. The APY didnt come from new investors but from a subside of the foundation. Not that it matters anymore as its all worthless now lol. RE: Will UST recover? - Roytoy - May 16, 2022 As far as I've been reading and watching it doesn't seem like it's going to recover, not any time soon at least. RE: Will UST recover? - _daniel - May 16, 2022 This was just released by the Luna Foundation Guard. Looks like all reserves (~$3bn) have been dumped and the peg won't come back. $3bn assets were dumped to try to keep the peg but failed because of how broken the protocol was. ![]() Source: https://twitter.com/LFG_org/status/1526126703046582272 RE: Will UST recover? - The Broker - May 16, 2022 (May 15, 2022 06:51 AM)xVulnerable Wrote: Easy to say that after it happened. Nah bro, just 7 years experience with this kind of bullshit RE: Will UST recover? - Viralboost.io - May 16, 2022 A small chance that it will recover. The trust is gone, with no recovery plan and no reserves left. Might be the end of UST (but not the Terra ecosystem in my opinion) |
