Not really bragging - TerminalJester - Jun 1, 2022
Not a brag post, more of a vent!
Today is June 1st, happens to be my birthday as well. Long story short, my girlfriend forgot it was today and thought it was the weekend. My mother has came and seen me every year for my birthday, besides when I was in the military. This year she didn’t and my father hasn’t said a word to me today.
My kids didn’t say anything but they are 4 and 3 so my expectations for them to remember are slim to none, no harm no foul there. Just wanted a normal birthday I guess.
Couple years ago on my birthday, my baby momma cheated on me in my house with my “best friend” since then I’ve stayed away from “friends” or really anything.
Thanks for reading and listening. This isn’t a feel bad for me post, again I just needed to vent. I hope everyone has/had a great day!

Sometimes it happens that the people around you just forget things like a family member's birthday.
On my own example, I know how often this can happen. In fact, I was able to forget about my birthday myself, being absorbed in work or other things😅
After all, it is your holiday, on this day you should do something for yourself and you will be completely justified to not give a damn about the whole world on this special day for you👌

Mistakes can happen, please don't take it too harshly on yourself.
I mean have you never forgotten someone else's birthday?
Be grateful you have 2 kids and teach them what is right in this world, like not forgetting someone's birthday ;)

Well they all said that they were busy, understandable but still. They just brushed it off for the most part. Let’s see if I get anything, if not no biggie.
