Competitive gaming - Pound - Jun 2, 2022

Anyone in to this? I used to play COD at a competitive level when I was younger for cash prizes and many more aspects of it, being sponsored etc just lost interest and grew up wish I stuck at it and made a career from it, I was that good honestly 13-14 year old
Kid playing with the best in the world.

Used to play CS:S and then CSGO competitively in Australia. Played with the same group of guys for a number of years. We used to stomp others in the Aus scene, it got pretty boring towards the end. Now we play casual CSGO and get stomped by cheaters haha.

I’ve played a little CS:GO not quite as good as I am in cod but I’m not too bad, I always played console me.

Yes can relate, used to play in a lot of LAN's in Toronto and NY then eventually migrated to CS:GO. Big difference between back when we were kids and nowadays is how much infrastructure there is regarding comp esports. Nowadays you don't even have to be pro you can be on an academy team and still make enough to support yourself while trying to go pro.

I used to play Clash Royals competitive in the local areas for prizes.
Think I wasted a few thousand $ on that game 😂

I will sound pretty old but i got started threw the website clanladders and xfire when competitive gaming was in its infancy halo combat evolved and later counter strike condition zero.

Fast forward source is still insanely fun,

I play counter strike global offensive and diablo immortal about it now days but kids and people way older than me are making more than i make in a few months in a matter of days to a week depending the prize pot and their skill with a bit of luck.

Not that great anymore love games but my hands aren't the quickest after 15 years of work experience in IT and my amazing personality when people start talking trash for no reason.

Either way good luck it's doable but you gotta be good or at least look like your good with a lot of luck.
