Any decent games that dont require a decent PC? - Shrooms - Jun 15, 2022

Anyone know of any decent games I can play while I work on fixing my PC, currently using a shitty laptop it's not really bad but nowhere near as good as my PC.

Getting bored not being able to play my usual games now I am back on a PC.

All I can think of is runescape, oldschool rs, or private servers?

Was looking into possibly playing a private server, I haven't played in years though I'm unsure if I would enjoy it

Thats true. You could always look up gaming toplists and see whats new, etc, filter to your liking?

Yeah I will have a look, usually find a game and get into it for an hour or two then never play it again it's getting annoying.

You can't go wrong with FPS games like CS:GO or even Valorant.
Dota 2 and League of Legends are popular MOBA games.
All these games should run on most laptops.

Haven't tried League, I have tried to run CSGO for some reason it is absolute shit. It should be able to run on this laptop but it just dies when I try.

That is very strange. CS:GO was created to be played on third-world toasters.
Try lowering the graphics. They don't matter anyway.

Yeah I played a lot of CS:GO on my PC and it ran amazingly.

I have tried lowering the graphics and a few other things, the FPS is exactly the same no matter what. Unsure what the problem is.

That's rough.
There's always Valorant...

Personally, I can kill good amount of time in GTA: SA

Yeah I might give Valorant another try, tried to get into it when it first came out but just gave up after a week or two. Had a CSGO mindset and I felt like I was just getting call of duty players or fortnite on my team with 0 communication.

Yeah, communication is not great. Especially in their casual 5v5.
You might find better teammates in ranked.

Yeah I was playing ranked at the time, there was no difference. Even at a half decent rank it was still very hard to get wins and a team that would communicate, that's why I went back to CS:GO.

Old School Runescape can run on one single CPU core.
