Help reading a file - HighFive - Jul 5, 2022 I need some help with reading file. I have information that file contains floats. Every float is 4bits and its binary_little_endian 1.0 For example this is a file oppened in txt: Code 7ë?Vý˝‹ĺ”>˙†J˙l$í?źÔ=ć$ľ>˙†J˙(çî?Yý˝ć$ľ>˙†J˙'Šč?[ý˝"6?˙†J˙KÓć?[YČ="6?˙†J˙…?Ů?[ý˝fË$?˙†J˙4Ą×?ĄŰŞ=fË$?I know that first float is (1.8376168). I have no idea how to correctly convert this. Any suggestions? It's ASCII characters so should I convert this first to HEX and then to float? I always get some weird numbers and can't make it to work. RE: Help reading a file - Lynx - Jul 5, 2022 Yes you could convert the file to a readable byte string and then convert each 4 bytes to floats manually. Or use python to write a quick scripts to do this for you. |
