Win a Paypal dispute? - Charlie Sheen - Jul 5, 2022 decided to just deal with it RE: Win a Paypal dispute? - Cap - Jul 5, 2022 I don’t know myself, but what do their terms say in this case? RE: Win a Paypal dispute? - bk randy - Jul 5, 2022 This will be hard with a seller like vb https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/paypal-safety-and-security Gonna have to make something believable up that PayPal will side with you on. If it all sounds too complex, then they will not side with you. Honestly, might want to stick with being very blunt with them, like, they didn't send product and customer support won't issue you the refund. Good luck. I was thinking I might have better luck disputing through my bank. Depends, banks will also tell you to reach out to the merchant as well and see what they say. Banks won't always reverse either. RE: Win a Paypal dispute? - UNKNOWNI - Jul 8, 2022 You only got chances if you paid it with a CC/Bank, and that's not even guaranteed that you will win the case. It's easy for Vbulletin to prove you received the software, so if you gonna open a dispute as not received you will most likely lose it. It's easy for PayPal to prove that you authorized the payment and nobody hacked you, so if you gonna dispute it as not authorized you will most likely lose it. It used to be such an awesome forum software back in the day. Now it's a shell of itself. I tried to refund but they said no refunds after download. I'm wondering if anyone has any paypal strategies to win a refund from them. Honestly, I've been in plenty of situations where it was explicitly stated "No refunds for any reason". Still opened a dispute with paypal and eventually it got ruled in my favor regardless after a couple days. This has happened pretty much every time, I have never lost a dispute. I don't do anything special, I simply describe the incident in the best possible way. Over half of these were due to regretting the purchase after receiving something different from expected but of course you don't word it like that directly. In fact there was once a time where I stated it was unauthorized purchase and paypal said "We found no evidence of that", but I STILL received a refund (Blizzard was this merchant). I didn't speak with the merchant at all, only opened the paypal dispute. RE: Win a Paypal dispute? - Charlie Sheen - Jul 9, 2022 (Jul 6, 2022 04:50 AM)Gary. I'm hoping that should I attempt and fail, vbulletin doesn't suspend my license, because my backup plan is to sell the license if I can't get my money back. If you fill all details correct you must won this dispute. RE: Win a Paypal dispute? - Omniscient - Jul 9, 2022 Dick move imho to buy something, have regret, then try to chargeback. Technically that's fraud what you want to do. You should have done better research before buying.
