Hey i decided save money, but to motivate myself not to spend I want to keep a monthly journal where I will share my investments/earnings in a given month. I want to start this month and finish it in December 2023. Post will appear every 30th of every month. This month will be an exception and I will write this on the 17th month day. I will give the amount in PLN, but I will convert it to USD

250pln -> bought 11,21 ANGI Homeservices shares -> for this moment earn 2,16pln -> 0.46usd
250pln -> bought 5,02 Atlas shares -> for this moment earn 1,42pln -> 0,30usd
Cryptocurrency purchases
Budget for cryptocurrencies -> 500pln -> 105usd
250pln -> bought 109,5 ADA Cardano -> for this moment lost 18pln -> 3,8 usd
250pln -> bought 982,15 RLY Rally -> for this moment lost 60pln -> 12,66 usd

I know it's not a lot of money and within 2 months it will not increase significantly because I'm busy studying to pass school. But I hope that when I pass I will have better financial results. If i have made a mistake in my calculations, i am sorry but i am tired. You can also share your opinion what do you think about publishing such a report every month, thanks <3
the main savings plan will be invests in cryptocurrencies and stocks, now I will invest every earnings in stocks or in crypto

Invest in an index fund.

Keep saving it will benefit you no matter what, be careful with what you put it into.

I try to invest to make a profit but also from the back of my head that I can lose this money. I think it will be a good lesson for me as I save money in various types of investments

I wouldn't be holding a lot in stocks atm. We haven't seen the bottom yet and the housing market in the US is trash.

worse than that. Just look at the housing cost against yearly salary. It's way out of wack, more than 2008.

offcourse but in 2008 banks gave loans for housing to everyone, even if they knew that they would not be able to pay it back. which also contributed to this

yes and this time large companies have over extended themselves by buying up too many properties (Zillow, Amazon, ect..) and now they're all trying to sell at a lose before they lose out. There's other variables at play than credit default swaps this time.

what do you recommend to invest in addition to Gold?

I've been saying it for over a year now. I don't know when it will happen.
Bonds I guess lol? Honestly it's better to save your money and wait to buy in after the crash.
