What's your favorite kind of apple? - Deformed - Jul 24, 2022
With all the politics dividing us, let's all find some common ground
What's HF's favorite kind of apple? Discuss and reinforce your answer.
I think there are too many for a poll, but personally I prefer Gala apples. They aren't too sweet, and not too strong.
I used to be a Golden Delicious enjoyer, but somewhere down the road my taste buds stopped enjoying them.
(Located in the US, no idea if that has any bearing on apple availability)

I'm a big fan of the green apple, I also like honey crisp as well. But there is just so many to choose from.

Granny Smith is the way to go.
Honey Crisp are very bland.

You know, I remember not liking Granny Smith as a child, so I really haven't tried one in years. I think next time I go to the store I should grab a few different varieties. Probably should've done that before making the thread....

They are known for the sour taste which I kinda like.

Yeah I can relate when I was younger I wasn't a fan of the red apples and only ate the green ones now that I'm older I enjoy all different types of apples.
