Is it worthwhile to attempt to spread with non FUD crypts? Is there a percentage of success? Or is it really just useless to attempt?

It's useless as 90%+ nowadays has Defender Updated for free! and Defender isn't easy to bypass (runtime)

actually you can do this if you spread using cracked programs and mention to the users that they should disable the anti-virus
just use your mind and get new idea this is just example

Exactly. Otherwise it won't have a purpose since like somebody already said, 99% of all devices have WD pre installed.
