Opinion on 'iced out' jewelry? - interbellum - Sep 4, 2022 I see a lot of rappers and artists wear them lately. Pretty curious to see what HF their opinion is on it. Would you ever buy/wear 'iced out' jewelry? Btw you can search it up if you have never heard of it but it's basically chains or just bracelets full with diamonds. The prices of it are crazy. Edit: here's a picture.
RE: Opinion on 'iced out' jewelry? - Dialog - Sep 4, 2022 It's not for me. Only jewellery I wear is my seal ring and watches anyway. At some point I contemplated purchasing a Rolex with fairly subtle diamond hour markers, but decided against it and went with a model without any diamonds. I've seen plenty of crazy expensive watches such as Daytona's and Day-Dates with diamond and gem-set bezels that I would not wear. Too flashy for me. Too flashy for me aswell About your rolex, which model did you eventually buy? The one without the diamonds. Pretty curious (Sep 4, 2022 08:55 AM)Dyne Wrote: I'm not a huge fan. I love diamonds, don't get me wrong. But mostly on rings, maybe ring around the face of a watch; Yeah I don't like the huge chains either. I'm mostly into bracelets. Too flashy for me aswell I ended up getting a vintage 16014 and still wear it a lot. It's a great piece that you can easily dress up, but I also love wearing it with a more sporty outfit. RE: Opinion on 'iced out' jewelry? - N - Sep 4, 2022 Zero has a lot of iced out drip, curious to see his thoughts. RE: Opinion on 'iced out' jewelry? - Plague - Sep 4, 2022 Not a fan. I love jewelry, but I prefer more of a minimalist approach. Rings and watches all day, but definitely not iced out. For these rappers, it's just a huge flex so I sort of get it. RE: Opinion on 'iced out' jewelry? - Gary - Sep 4, 2022 Iced out can look pretty cheesy. It really depends on how its done. That's why I said incase you don't know what it is, search it up. Also provided a quick description. Will post a picture though RE: Opinion on 'iced out' jewelry? - 570RM - Sep 4, 2022 I like diamonds but stay away from flashing it. RE: Opinion on 'iced out' jewelry? - Velma - Sep 4, 2022 You would not imagine how much money has been lost in the picture after the person decided to put after market bs diamonds on those watches. I don't mind jewellery being iced out so your chains rings etc but they really not going to maintain any value especially those watches what a crime imo. If you want diamonds on such watches just go and get factory set diamond watches, I find those watches hideous also just a big screaming rob me item. Also lots of artists / rappers Know they are losing the "investment" money with those diamonds on watches, just another thing to put on their taxes I guess. RE: Opinion on 'iced out' jewelry? - Eran - Sep 4, 2022 Not a fan of jewelry. A silver chain is what I want but nothing more. Simplicity is key. RE: Opinion on 'iced out' jewelry? - webdev77 - Sep 4, 2022 Seems completely pointless and not even a good looking style. Its just a way to show how much money you have, sure a nice watch is never wrong. But i dont see the need for it to be covered in Diamonds. With that being said, if i had the money to not give a fuck what i buy. Why not? I get your point. Like I already stated, the only jewelry piece I will EVER buy that's full with diamonds would be a bracelet. RE: Opinion on 'iced out' jewelry? - Masteredsaiyan - Sep 4, 2022 I personally wouldn't go for it... but everyone has their own style. RE: Opinion on 'iced out' jewelry? - SIM-3970461 - Sep 4, 2022 "icing" out anything is just ruining the jewelry and it'll be far less valuable down the road. Just collect diamonds if u want but dont smack it on gold. |
