Bottles or Cans? Coke vs Pepsi. - Blazin - Sep 4, 2022

I have heard mixed answers so going to ask HF this question. When you drink your coke or pepsi or whatever flavor you enjoy, do you think it tastes better from a can or bottle?

Glass bottle > Fountain > Can > Plastic Bottle

I am an expert.

I believe Coca-Cola from a glass bottle is superior in taste, for a couple of reasons: it doesn't lose carbonation as fast, and it's less chemically reactive than metals and plastics. Or I'm wrong and it's placebo, I still prefer glass bottles.

The coke in a can should never actually come into contact with any of the metal besides the split second it exits the can and touches the lip. There is film inside the can preventing and direct connection.

The film may still have chemicals which could affect the taste subtly.

Plastic Bottle > Can, you were so close to being a true expert

Yeah, there's a huge debate between Plastic Bottles Vs Cans specifically. I use to think cans were better but now I'm not really sure.

To be honest I don't think the taste is effected as much as glass bottle/fountain although I just don't like drinking out of cans, especially the coke size cans.

Most definitely a bottle. I can't re-seal a can.
