Of course, scamming a paedophile is not as bad as scamming an honest person.
But scamming is still scamming. Trying to justify it based on who you're scamming is a delusion.

I think that in order to "scam a pedophile" you have to be just as unethical and immoral as they are.

I've been there with exhorting.
Didn't bother me a bit to scam people when they are sick fucks.
On the other hand, scamming honest people who just wanted connection and to talk to you is why I quit doing it.

The posters here (won't name them) who are literally saying that you are ethically/morally similar to a paedophile by scamming them are basically intellectually unequipped, or have been completely brain fucked by the system/current culture that is being asserted.

Nope. Untrue. So let's say I scam some pedo for $5k. Turns out that money is from selling kiddie porn. You think there is any grey area in that morally? You find a pedo, you should work to have them arrested. Scamming them is just a justification for doing something illegal to benefit yourself.
