Crazy Cat Lady: How Many Cats is Too Many? - Carrot - Oct 14, 2022
How many cats is too many? I'm a crazy cat lady and I currently have six cats. I love them all dearly, but sometimes I feel like I'm running a cat shelter! Is there such thing as too many cats?

I would say any more than 3 is too many.

I currently have 4 cats, I've rescued two of them off the street as a kitten myself. I am a crazy cat lady too.

But tbh if she has 3 cats I'd start worrying, 4-5 I'm out.

More than 2 pets at a time would be too many not just for cats in my opinion.

Well it depends on how much area do you have. The city i live in until you have a bigger house only then i would consider the amount you have okay. Otherwise adjust accordingly so they have options to roam around and do the hilariously devilish things they love to do hahah :D

We have one cat and he's too much work for me. I fret about him constantly. I've no idea how people have 2, 3, 4 pets, never mind having children, like actual small humans that you're responsible for who are determined to maim themselves any opportunity they get.

Well i think having 6 cats its not too exagerated but having more in the past like 10 cats for example

I’d say 3 are too many typically, unless you are especially making time for them and can manage them efficiently then about 10

Personally I'm not a cat fan. I don't know what it is, but I'm just not too fond of them. So anything more than one is too many for me.
