I'm not that concerned about anonymity, I only use [censored] VPN to download via Torrents, however looking after reviews there is a cons for it "Confusing privacy policies", maybe not the best for you :/

PIA lol ..... Torguard is good use code 50OFF for half price.
Peronsally I use protonVPN these days using secure core (which like routes me through 2 countries) and the kill switch so when it dies nothing can connect to the internet. But I only use this as a first stage method of protection, after this rdp and the vnc and proxied browser
Astrill also is worth a mention as there speeds are good
[censored] and all that nonsense stuff that. Mulit-hop and use trails to the wrong places
