My Minimalist Journey.. - HexKing - Oct 23, 2022
I live nomatically and am about to take on minimalist survival in a deep mountain range for a full year.
I plan on bringing things to survive, Some provisions and tools as well as some video vlog equipment + my laptop with a power source ( solar ). Obvious routes would be YT and IG for monetization and sponsorship, maybe purchase some boost on the account?
Ideas or possible parnterships?
UPDATE - I purchased a domain and created accounts on platforms.. depart date aiming for Nov 1st.
I will be doing preview and post-journey videos.

Very nice concept. I'd definitely look into doing some B roll shots for TikTok as well. That seems to be the quickest way to achieve some sort of following as your chances of getting featured on TikTok are much higher than the algorithms of google/insta.

Huh well, I'm not sure about tiktok its one of the only platforms I don't use so my knowledge base is limied.
Maybe post this in partnership and have someone handle the side of video editing and marketing.. I guess we will see.

There are quite a few content editing companies for hire. I'm sure you can find someone on here that does that. It will just take quite a while for you to build up an audience conventionally. You'll have to come out of pocket for a decent editor. Nobody is going to edit 200 videos before you grain traction to start being able to pay them dividends of the profit.

Money is not an issue for me. I am probably going to do that today.. Buy a domain and set up some basework. Create a thread offering paid partnership or something along those lines.

Start a TikTok, and prepare videos now that post about how you're going on the journey.
OR set up a constant live stream to get viewers to donate etc while you do it

That's pretty awesome, I love watching these type of shows, I don't have any recommendations but I'd love to get the YT and IG channels to watch.
Sounds like Alone but for a longer time period and more survival equipment.

Really happy to see a Journey thread. I will be keeping an eye for this thread and hope to see updates on this thread.
