Logo Hide to include link to front page - Shone - Nov 10, 2022 Hello, I browse HF in office and I don't want people asking too many questions so I hide the logo. However, I have a habit of clicking on the logo to get to the home page, so could there perhaps be a `Link` icon there which just takes you to front page? I know that there is the home icon but I'm really not used to using it as I have developed a habit of clicking the logo over the past 4 years. Have a nice day RE: Logo Hide to include link to front page - Nachfolger - Nov 10, 2022 If you can't press the Home icon out of habit, what makes you think a new link/icon is going to change that? Because it would be at the same place where the logo usually is. RE: Logo Hide to include link to front page - SMMFlare - Nov 10, 2022 I do the same thing. Would be a convenient change for me personally, but not really a big thing. RE: Logo Hide to include link to front page - Bullup - Nov 10, 2022 Yeah i have the same issue as well lol a link icon would be cool or maybe just a replacement logo saying "FORUM" so that you can switch between the original HF logo or the default generic FORUM logo RE: Logo Hide to include link to front page - webdev77 - Nov 10, 2022 (Nov 10, 2022 05:28 AM)Shone Wrote: Because it would be at the same place where the logo usually is. There is a home icon on every page in the breadcrumb trail. Zero reason to add a superfluous link to the header of a website. The logo is already linked. Well, problem is that hiding the logo removes the functionality of being able to click it and go to home page, which is often used by a lot of people. What I'm suggesting is a tiny UX change, it would make things more convenient for people who are so used to clicking on the logo but I suppose it might be too unimportant and too much hassle to do. Use the home button in the breadbrumbs. There is already another link to home available. RE: Logo Hide to include link to front page - Omniscient - Nov 10, 2022 I'll see what I can do. RE: Logo Hide to include link to front page - Hydra - Nov 10, 2022 I'm for this, and I understand where OP is coming from. It's one thing clicking a large logo vs the tiny home button on the left side. One way would be to turn the entire div clickable for home and the show icon to show the logo. That way we have more real estate to click Home vs the tiny home icon.
RE: Logo Hide to include link to front page - StuffSneak - Nov 10, 2022 Well to be honest once you start clicking the Home icon, you will eventually get a hang of it. I also felt like this in the start but now I have become accustomed to it.
