Bitcoin Lightning Network Halts TWICE due to bug - shreder - Nov 30, 2022

In short a user executed a complex tx costing $4.9 that shutdown nodes causing the chain to halt completely, users were not able to broadcast TX or sync their nodes.

Literally no different to Solana going offline but on Bitcoin.

You can see users panicking that their clients would not sync on Github.

This user managed to take down the vaporware network not once BUT TWICE

Why anyone would support this vaporware that not only siphons incentives away from L1 miners, keep tx offchain requiring no L1 security, and halts multiple times a month Is beyond me. This has to be a government Trojan horse.

You already were educated about how Lightning is a peer to peer messaging system, so it can't halt like Solana, which is a consensus network. Yet, you went and started a brand new thread with a fake news title in an attempt to miseducate people on what happened despite already knowing that Lightning didn't halt.

Everyone is calling you a liar it's literally on github that it halted failed syncs.
