Half a bottle of brandy and 5 espressos later I feel the hang over starting need the cure. What do you suggest?

A pint of water drunk just before going to bed used to work ok for me. A lot of hangover is just dehydration.

Drink tons of water before going to bed,
will flush your system and lessen the hangover
and sometimes you won't even have one.
Rule #1: Drink more water than you drank liqour.
Rule #2: Try to eat.
Rule #3: Caffeine

If you know there will be a hangover then a large glass of water the night before and then continue with water when you wake up. Gatorade / sports drinks are nice too.
