BSV Dying - Omniscient - Dec 29, 2022 Looks like CW's empire of shit is collapsing. https://www.coindesk.com/tech/2021/07/23/what-is-going-on-with-bitcoin-sv/ Just got delisted at Bitfinex too. What's interesting is that Craig Wright appears to be giving up on proving he's Satoshi. I think it's ironic that more people might have suspected he was Satoshi if he didn't come out and say it. Funny how that works. BSV still valued at $42 w/ $800m cap. [vatopid=291] RE: BSV Dying - SUI-3183372 - Dec 29, 2022 Paolo Ardoino included an interesting metric when delisting them: "Fun stat: BSV full synced node consumes 8TB of disk so far." BSV tripled in size in 2022, at current rates it's adding about 4gb. This is massively unsustainable. I love Craig Wright / BSV topics RE: BSV Dying - Omniscient - Dec 29, 2022 (Dec 29, 2022 12:16 PM)BV1 Wrote: Paolo Ardoino included an interesting metric when delisting them: Yeah, and we're suppose to believe this clown is Satoshi. It's going to be a larger blockchain than Ethereum if it's not already. RE: BSV Dying - Truth - Dec 29, 2022 If BSV is dying I'd hate to think what other coins are doing. BSV has been in the top 50 marketcap since its existence, with more transactions than BTC and sometimes even ETH https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/transactions-btc-eth-bsv.html#3y Elon Musk actually mentioned a social media site based on "some version of Bitcoin" being what he wants for twitter https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AkMgBRlpNlA https://bsvdata.com/applications Obviously most people haven't heard of any of these apps, but then again, which other crypto app are people actually using instead. So again, if BSV is dead, RIP to 99.9% of crypto in general If you held BTC pre fork then you own both BCH and BSV. I personally kept all 3. In fact going to buy more of all 3 during this dip. As if Bitcoin forks weren’t controversial already, this one is the most controversial and hated forks of Bitcoin that out there. I could’ve told you in 2018 that this coin was going to go to die. While BSV is shit, it does not change the fact that we need to start valuing less the actions of centralized entities. What are other cryptos doing. (Dec 29, 2022 01:29 PM)Admin Wrote: So then it doesn't bother you that it's being delisted by major exchanges? not really, that kind of helps the Supply/Demand thing. If one BSV app takes off and everyone wants to buy it but no exchange has it, price should in theory skyrocket. But who knows, I own all Bitcoin (BTC, BCH & BSV). The white paper talks about the longest chain being bitcoin obviously that is BTC for now, but I'm not here to gamble on getting bitcoin wrong so I'll own all 3(which if you held BTC prefork you'll already do) RE: BSV Dying - SUI-3183372 - Dec 29, 2022 (Dec 29, 2022 01:41 PM)Truth Wrote: define "trouble" or dying as again, BSV has peaks of being the most transacted currency and again, been in the top 50 since its existence. What are other cryptos doing. How? Sit down and really ask yourself, 'how is it possible that BSV, at times, has been the most transacted cryptocurrency?' Look at the size of DeFi on BSV. Look at the size of the BSV community/ecosystem. How would it be possible for such a small sliver of an ecosystem outgun BTC, ETH, etc? There are only two logical answers: 1. It hasn't 2. Massive manipulation Manipulation is rampant on BSV, and Craig and Calvin are two of the biggest liars in crypto, so not hard to believe they push this narrative. https://coingeek.com/10m-transactions-a-day-on-bitcoin-bsv-is-eating-the-competition/ Like look at the graph they posted, how can you actually believe that BSV is responsible for 78% of all crypto transactions? Either they're counting data/messages being sent as actual transactions (similar to Solana), or it's just pure manipulation. The entire BSV eco is a sham. Bitcoin $16.6k Bitcoin Cash $97 Bitcoin Satoshi Vision $42 Bitcoin Gold $12 Bitcoin Diamond $.10 Bitcoin 2 $.33 And any BCH or BSV I did have on forks, I immediately sold off. RE: BSV Dying - Truth - Dec 29, 2022 for me personally, I'd consider a crypto dead if it spent more time out of the top 50 than in and doesn't have a high # of transaction volume relative to others. If user nodes mattered, RIP as no one here is running a node long term. I've linked the BSV apps and you can check them out to see if users are real or not. Meanwhile be sure to compare it to your other fav crypto apps, none? We'll see it play out within a few years. I personally think BSV should be a top 10 crypto. Most of these other cryptos will remained unused. as Satoshi Nakamoto said 'If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.' I'm going over some of those apps you listed. I suppose it's something. RE: BSV Dying - SUI-3183372 - Dec 29, 2022 ![]() 90% of BSV's transactions come from an application that uses bots to scrape Quora and repost the content onto their platform. If you poke around on my2cents, you can see that they get maybe hundreds of real posts a day. In 2020 the #1 source of transactions on BSV were bots spamming the network with live weather data. Vaporware. RE: BSV Dying - Omniscient - Dec 29, 2022 (Dec 29, 2022 03:23 PM)BV1 Wrote: Yeah, I was looking at that #1 site. Didn't seem like real content. RE: BSV Dying - SIM-82498 - Dec 30, 2022 I've never seen anyone claim to want to accumulate BSV lmao |
