Solana TPS went from 5000 to 90 more or less halting all activity, developers and validators don't know why this is happening. They are hoping a server restart will fix this.

Solana validators still have spare memory to increase into? Shocking.
Sol followers were just starting to feel confident too, saying that nothing bad has happened in months!
Let's also not forget the way Sol calculates their TPS is bullshit as well. All TPS numbers mentioned on Solana include votes, pointless (in the context of calculating tps) network noise that shouldn't be counted as a real transaction.

Currently it's down for maintenance waiting for the guys to come in the office to restart the hamster wheel. They gave it a restart earlier but it did not work, now they are trying to kick the wheel again. Maybe ity worky this timey.

Yeah definitely not a good look. Its just insane that it did a 4x from its all time lows after FTX. I think the reputation is too much to overcome for Solana.
