Mobile Home / Tiny House Living? - Dread.Reaper - Feb 26, 2023
Just curious if any of the community has any experience in Tiny Homes or Van Life living?
Given the costly nature of basic living now a days I have been looking at this as a viable option for myself.
This is a conceptual design I have been tossing around for ideas.
Feel free to let me know what you guys think.

I’m on the waitlist to purchase https://www.boxabl.com/ as an ADU. Seems like a decent option for smaller living. I know somebody who lives out of a van and he decked it out with Starlink, Solar and has a decent PC/gaming setup. He loves it and it’s also a good option for cheaper, on the move living.

I have seen these, they look like a great viable option for home ownership for a young person or starting family honestly.
Problem I am finding for myself is somewhere I can settle this Truck concept when I get around to building it.
FYI, I want to build it myself for not only cost reasons but I have construction background in me and want it customized to my exact desires. :)

I know someone who lives in a camper RV and it is a very similar situation to Duke's friend. It's a very dope setup and very cost efficient if you are working from home. Just be sure to be aware of moisture issues, soft walls/floors, leaks, etc. as these types of mobile environments are very prone to these things. Long-term mold exposure/infections can be a silent killer people who are never really symptomatic other than allergies.
