How to bypass captcha - soaringman - Mar 3, 2023 Hey guys, I am kind of new to cyber security, but I'm very familiar with what is done in cyber sec. domain, recently I was asked to bypass a captcha for an internship program, and as wasn't perfectly aware of any methods or techniques to bypass it. So the only idea I had in mind is to, create a python script and scrape the web page, once you get the captcha image or whatever, then create another script with openCV and similar libraries for image recognition or get a copy of a similar script from GitHub, especially the one which was trained on a large number of datasets. I don't know how accurate this method is, but I'd like to know your suggestions or ideas about "How to bypass a captcha". Thanks RE: How to bypass captcha - double-o-tuxedo - Mar 3, 2023 Deathbycaptcha and 2Captcha are online CAPTCHA solving services that use a combination of human workers and machine learning algorithms to bypass CAPTCHAs. Here's a brief overview of how they work: 1 User submits a CAPTCHA: When a user encounters a CAPTCHA, they can submit it to Deathbycaptcha or 2captcha's API for solving. 2 CAPTCHA is forwarded to a solver: The CAPTCHA is sent to a pool of human workers or machine learning algorithms that are trained to recognize and solve CAPTCHAs. 3 CAPTCHA is solved: The solver works to recognize the characters in the CAPTCHA image and enters the correct answer into the system. 4 Response is returned: The service returns the correct CAPTCHA response to the user, which they can use to access the site or service. Python is a programming language that is widely used for web development, automation, data analysis, and various other applications. While Python can be used to automate tasks and interact with websites, bypassing CAPTCHAs is a challenging task that may not be achievable with Python alone. CAPTCHAs are designed to prevent automated scripts or bots from accessing websites, services, or data. They typically require users to identify and enter a combination of characters or images that are difficult for machines to decipher. While Python can be used to automate web browsing, submit forms, and parse HTML content, it does not have built-in capabilities to recognize or solve CAPTCHAs. To bypass CAPTCHAs, developers typically use additional tools, such as OCR software, machine learning algorithms, or CAPTCHA solving services, which may require additional coding or configuration beyond Python alone. |
