Uber Eats Fraud Implications Question - alex chess - Mar 27, 2023

Hi everyone. I chose to ask here because I've noticed a few people here providing B4U services/selling Uber Eats methods, so I figured someone here could help me out. I apologize if this is the incorrect place to ask.

What exactly does happen to someone who repeatedly abuses Uber's "new user promotion" offer for discounted food? Uber's TOS classifies this as Fraud and that US Regulators may get involved, but I can't find any trace of anyone ever being charged or arrested for this exact type of fraud (with Uber Eats). When I research this I'm having trouble finding answers with any concrete evidence.

What's the probability of being charged and/or prosecuted for repeated occurrences? Has this happened to you or anyone you know?
Just to clarify I am strictly referring to promotion abuse and not any sort of refund method, and I am also not interested in any B4U service nor methods.

Yeah in this case I reckon it’s just words to get you in line.

Ub3r be rich af, I don’t think this would affect their PNL much.

It's an extra coffin nail the DA will use to cement the case against you.

This seems to be the common response amongst users on reddit but of course, though as logical as it sounds it doesn't necessarily have to be true.

Apparently I was too vague in my original post.

They're never going to use this as a reason to arrest you, but you better believe they probably know about it and it will come up if you get in trouble for something else down the line. Death by a thousand cuts. The government
is very methodical about collecting evidence, and are not as dumb as some of you want to claim. By the time they come for you, they've got shit on you going further back then whatever they nabbed you for.
