Favorite place in the world, and why? - chris2993 - Mar 31, 2023

I'm slowly expanding my travels and enjoying every minute of it. Was wondering, what's your favorite place in the world that you've visited and why?

I'll start: A small little old mining town in Australia called Walhalla, I went there a few years ago when I was on a roadtrip around Aus with a friend and the town is still set up exactly how it used to be in the golden days, old wooden shopfronts, gravel roads etc with a beautiful drive through forests to get there and a creek running through the town. You can go down in to the old mine and see what it used to be like working there too. Good memories ✌

Personally I love the sea, certainly the most beautiful sea I've ever seen is the sea of north-west Sardinia. I live in Italy and I'm pretty sure that one of the best places you could go if you like the sea is just that.

Thank you for the recommendation! Once I make it over to Italy I'll definitely add it to the list of places to check out, I've just looked it up and it looks stunning there!👍

I like to travel but I am a bit afraid of flying so I usually board the plane a bit drunk and a bit high. But the best place for me is home. It is familiar and comfy, my friends are here and I know my way around the narrow streets ;)

Still, you managed to find a way to push yourself out of your comfort zone to do it regardless, that's awesome! :) They say home is where the heart is after all, and it seems yours is in your comfy surrounds 👍

Hey there's plenty of time bro, even just travelling away for a weekend can be nice if you don't have much time spare 👍
