The Coven | Philosophers Circle

The Coven is a spiritual based group where we discuss and cover various different topics such as philosophy, metaphysics, pseudoscience, witchcraft and magick, ancient civilizations, esoteric topics, consciousness, psychedelics, meditation, mysticism, shamanism, religion, reiki and energy manipulation, secret societies and orders, ancient texts and grimoires, demonology, angelology, astrology, zodiacs, crystals and much more. This group is open to anyone with an open mind who may be interested in such topics, or simply if you just want to learn more. Those who wish to explore their spirituality are always welcomed. We are a group of diversity, no matter what your beliefs are, what religion, gender, age, sexuality, or race you are, we welcome you with open arms. This is a hate-free group, no hate, trolls or overall negativity will be tolerated.
The Coven Philosophers Circle will focus primarily on of course, Philosophy. Together we will Discuss, Debate, Ponder, Hypothesize. Are you interested in expanding your perspective on life? Are you fascinated by the way the world works, the life within, and how there seems to be no "coincidences" in life? The Covens Philosophers Circle may be for you!
We will focus on bringing more versatile discussions to HackForums, while also maintaining our own private discussions and developing our own personal philosophies. No one is given the job of a Philosopher, you simply are, or you learn! Wisdom has no age, and no expiration date. Love that design! I have a similar piece tattooed on my chest so it always stands out to me, and pentagrams are just cool in general. Sounds like an interesting group for sure, love the concept and what you're aiming to do. I'm sure it'll be a great group for the site and for the members involved. Always up for joining if allowed!

I have strong interest in philosophy, so this is interesting to me. I'm interested in your group topics, but don't tolerate deception within them and usually avoid the topics for this reason.
What kind of information are you looking for in an application?

Forced and fake energy may stay away lol, I'd prefer we keep it all genuine interest not half assed or anything so you may definitely find comfort joining!
More or less, just give me some perspective on you. What are your life views, what topics fascinate you most, what philosophers inspire you, how long have you been into the subject, things like that. If you have any work I can read that would be excellent as well.

FINALLY!
Something that is comparable to Void. That was my favorite group to be in back in the day. The discussions were awesome and not forced. People posted and wanted to be there. Hoping you guys can emulate that somewhat!
This is the type of group that would actually make me active on HF again, and the group graphics are great.

Hmmm I think I might be interested. I have a strong passion for philosophy. However, for just about all the topics after metaphysics with a few exceptions I hold a very sceptical and opposing position for them.
If you looking for an open environment for discussion from both sides on such topics, I would like to check it out and see what everyone is talking about.
It possible that this is not a good fit for me and me for the group. I can imagine the possibility that this could cause frustration for me and also my presents may be frustrating for others. I don't want to cause issues.
I value hearing arguments and exposing myself to opposing views to test my own ideological potions and testing them for errors or flaws. To me if you hold a potion on anything, but do not allow for the possibility to be wrong and allow for change on these positions, you are destine to be ignorant and believe in false ideas.
Given the above, let me know if you think I would be a good fit for this group. Either way its ok and I thought I should at least enquire.

No knowledge is necessary, you can learn being amongst us what may inspire you and interest you.

Yeah that's actually something that inspired me to create the circle, amongst my own interests. I think most groups are pretty boring nowadays they follow the same niche almost always. I'd like to have a pretty solid group of people passionate about the subject.

All opinions are welcome, I don't believe in censoring speech especially not due to disagreements. If we can't find a compromise, then there's surely both growth for both parties- that being said, division is never the answer when you seek growth.

Yes, it's either market-centric groups or some secret brotherhood group that all require payins and offer nothing in return for said payin besides a userbar.
I've been suggesting this type of group to return for years! I'd of done it myself if I wasn't a broke boy lol

Yeah lol honestly it's so stale, far too many groups where you need some dramatic skillset, or have known some old member to be part of some "old prestigious group brought back for no reason". We have plans to eventually make the group official, would've done so by now even but, I have a lot of business endeavors I'm working on so for now, the crew shall do.
Hope to see many applicants, lots of fun things to discuss. Will be sending out invites rather soon.

Yup! And that rotates as older members leave and the peeps that take their place follow the same "tradition".
Not all, there are some cool people I've talked to or been invited to their groups (like Scrub) but a lot of what you mentioned is definitely true.
Regardless, glad a crew/group like this is coming about.
