Hi all,
it would be so good to have these websites in app version.
The website is already responsive so it would be cool to make it downloadable.

Adam wasn't involved in the development of the original app. Was he talking about making his own version?

Browsing HF on mobile kinda sucks ass everything feels too compact. I always end up forcing desktop view.

Don't be fooled. He was never going to do it.
As for OP asking about an App, yeah, it's not likely going to happen because of the gatekeepers (Apple and Google, but mostly Apple).
HF functions very well via browser. We have a working API. Basically anyone can make a functioning app with it if they want.

We made our own app when the first version of the API was out.
It was our senior project in 2017 or 2018 but the options were pretty limited.

Hackforums runs fine on mobile. I use mobile almost exclusively for like 4 years now
