"Questions" section for clarification about site rules - AiDenti - May 3, 2023
I think it would be helpful to have a section on the site for clarification of site rules. Somewhere to post "I want to share a link with xyz content. Is that against the rules?". Do we have a place like that already?

The Site News forum used to contain rules as part of it but was changed to its current name. The Help Docs are your first stop for all rules questions. After that, Staff can clarify further.
I don't think a dedicated forum is necessary for rule questions. There really shouldn't be that many questions after reading the Help Docs. HF rules are quite easy these days.

That makes sense. Maybe I should have added questions about the site in general. I see a lot of basic questions about site features and how to use them floating around forums like the lounge. It might make the site a bit more friendly to newcomers.

I think it wouldn't make much sense, after all the people who most need help with the rules and how the forum works will never bother opening their thread anywhere since they don't know all the parts of the forum . Newcomers need advice immediately and to ask for information they write random posts or make threads in any section, mainly in the lounge.
