I'd go for a FTP server is it's a lot easier.
Google's top result would probably be enough, you can setup a FTP server on pretty much any OS. So if you ask it "How to setup a FTP server on Windows 10" you'd probably be good to go. To make it a lot easier I recommend using a VPS or RDP instead of doing it on your home PC.

Both are bad. FTP\SMTP information such as username\password are saved on the keylogger's stub which can be extracted easily. So you server\pc will pwned and hacked.
