Making invisible file - Rawcode - Jun 8, 2023

This is how to make a hidden desktop file. I know this is "hacky fix" so to say, but hey, it does work.

Code
1. select the file you what hidden
2. right click and go to properties>customize>change icon
3. scroll along until you see a blank icon select it and press ok then apply
4. but you can still see the name? click on the text and press down alt and on the number-pad hit 255 and press enter

Ahh yes, fantastic way to loose a shortcut. lol
Cool tip but not sure why on earth Id want a blank shortcut icon.

Well I did this long time ago to hind some stuff from my mean, angry, homicidal, ninja girlfriend (not even joking)
You can find the icon(s) manually by using arrow keys.

Well, I am not doubting the legitimacy of the use. But IDK, call me old fashioned but I just use encryption. LOL

lol should we would encrypt me in small peaces and drop in to the sea
