How much do you know about the newest Twitter limits? - CyberXrays - Jul 3, 2023
Since last month, Twitter has begun to limit the permissions of accounts.
Here's the story so far:
Twitter is rate limiting:
You can only read 10000 posts/day (Verified)
You can only read 1000 posts/day (Unverified)
New accounts can only read 500/day
Twitter is limiting likes:
100 likes/day (Verified)
40 likes/day (Unverified)
New accounts can only like 20/day
Twitter is limiting retweets:
75 likes/day (Verified)
30 likes/day (Unverified)
New accounts can only like 10/day
Twitter is limiting followers:
200 follows/day (Verified)
100 follows/day (Unverified)
New accounts can only like 20/day
Twitter is limiting unfollowers:
100 follows/day (Verified)
40 follows/day (Unverified)
New accounts can only like 10/day
If you scan the timeline that counts as READING THE TWEET even if you don't click into the individual tweet. Keep that in mind.
Twitter has also limited how many followers you can see on an account.
Twitter has enforced a mandatory sign in to see tweets.
Twitter has killed all API free, and those that are paying for it are reporting it isn't working.
All Twitter tools, API or NOT, are not working as directed.
Plus:
All social media links to other platforms are blocked.
If you do any action all at once you will not be put in "Twitter Time Out" but a full suspension as Elon is crying "bots".
I've lost 3 accounts today. This is to make sure you don't.
