As per court filings this BTC batch will be sold, assuming it is, there is still a plentiful 31.6K $BTC to be liquidated.
Since the district courts are independent of the executive and legislative branches of government
What's their end goal here then ?
Why sell on Batches and not liquidate the whole sum once ?
Since 2014 they have been burning money, and missing on more than 5 billions in gains .

there is a theory suggesting some relationship between significant TETHER mints and seized BTC movement
correlatation doesn't imply causation of course, but it's an interesting remark non the less
