Legitimate Business Marketplace - I-GANK-I - Jul 20, 2023

Hi,

Since I run a company I cant be buying things here on HF from vendors because under specific laws here it makes it impossible for the following reason:

1. Non registered vendors do not pay taxes and cannot generate invoices.
2. The software that is being sold can be considered a tool that is mainly used to commit a crime according to article 139d WvS (Dutch law)

Now both of those things are usually not an issue when dealing with legitimate companies as the usage can then easily be explained for instance when you work in security through specific waivers which would otherwise not be signed if dealing through a normal waiver.

So I was wondering if its perhaps an idea to have a marketplace for legitimate companies or independent contractors (registered vendors) so that we (legitimate company owners) can also deal or purchase from HF.

Just wondering what you guys think of this.

Thanks!

Wouldn't these 'legitimate companies' already have their own cyber security team?

Yea, but not every security company has its own research and development team.
not every security specialist is a Sysinternals & networking software development expert.
