How do I know which sites are visited on my Wi-Fi !! - usa1010 - Aug 21, 2023 How do I know which sites are visited on my Wi-Fi How do I know which sites are visited on my Wi-Fi RE: How do I know which sites are visited on my Wi-Fi !! - Angela White - Aug 21, 2023 Set up NextDNS or PiHole and use it as a DNS server on your router Then view the logs from NextDNS / PiHole RE: How do I know which sites are visited on my Wi-Fi !! - DramaKing - Aug 21, 2023 Most people would probably gravitate towards sniffing web traffic. This is inadvisable because 95% of websites use HTTPS, not to mention the sheer amount of data that modern operating systems and applications send. You can try to capture DNS traffic to see what sites are being visited, and the aforementioned DNS server applications are a good way to do that (Technitium DNS Server) is another one. Don't set a computer on your local network as a recursive resolver, however. It causes too many latency and reliability issues, especially with wireless connections. Another option is a proxy server like mitmproxy. Set that as a proxy on your devices/router, and you will get whatever you want. It can also block specific websites. They have an IoT version I think? https://central.bitdefender.com/home Cheers RE: How do I know which sites are visited on my Wi-Fi !! - Vеrt - Aug 21, 2023 Yeah, a pi-hole is a pretty easy way to do it. I have an ASUS router that just shows me the traffic in and out. |
