Featured Forum Price Adjustment - Omniscient - Aug 23, 2023
I have lowered the default rate from $10 per day to $8 per day for Featured forum links.
Some sections cost more but the vast majority of the Features are just $8 now.
Currently Advanced Hacking is open for only $15 per day. I'd say Hacking Tools and Programs at $8 is the best deal though.
If you have not tried this as an advertising venue I highly recommend you give it a 3-5 day test.

Those top two sections are always occupied and for very long. Going to grab that $8 deal though on Hacking Tools and Programs and try this out.

I set this up to be daily purchase. I may end up making it weekly (like stickies) and so I can set a base price like $30 per week as default. Makes more sense imho than taking an $8 payment. Currently through the automated system you can buy blocks of 10 days but a few members contact me for direct payments up to 100 days.
I'd like to see more Featured links sold, even if it means a reduced price.

I've never looked into featured forum links, always just assumed a sticky is the most cost effective option.

The reduced price is great, i buy featured titles often, however what stops me from doing even more often, is that most good spots are often taken for too long, and you could say join the que, but i'm just not up for that.
What would be great would be a rotation between forum features, for example a rotation of 5 at the same time at max, each page view shows the next featured title, this would solve long que's, result in more sales, and doesn't really devalue the featured title either, but even if so, you already decreased pricing anyways.
So rotating titles would be amazing and definitely get me hooked more often.

I like this idea. It's both in favor of the marketer and the forum owner. More people can buy a featured title in a good spot and the admin earns more. The queue gets shorter because you now have five spots that are rotating instead of one taking up all the space.
This could fit perfectly with Omni's idea of having $30/week featured spots. Spots increase, and prices are cheaper for a reason (because you're rotating with others, etc).
Also Omni, I know you increased the prices of the stickies in the Premium Sellers Section before to meet market demand but have you ever thought of increasing the spots there as well?
