Are you trying to force a certain number to your phone or just any random number will do?

I would like to know if it is possible to use my own sim (to avoid paying for phone number services) to spoof my ID to any number.

Nope, it isn't. You'd need to change the SIM.

This website [https://textlocal.com/] allowed phone spoofing via text. It wouldn't spoof a number but you could set a custom name such as 'mom' etc. If the name was already in the contacts then it would merge in to the same conversation, however, I think you have to pay to be able to receive replies. Not sure if they still offer that service but worth a look.

Yes, but you need the phone line to be connected to a computer that has a POT modem.
once you have that you need a program that will modify the packets.
caller id is nothing but a text string. It has 2 parts one is a numerical number of a phone number
aka the source call and the other is a text string. The phone system doesn't check anything and is why
the equipment forwards the packets without any real checking.

You can connect to me for bulk SMS service , having global routes over 200 +, also if people here finding spoof number , Can let me know too.
