They're free but you need to social engineer your way thru. It's because they will make you buy something first.
If they stop you I would just say that you belong to a group that's already seated. It worked for me that they would let me thru.
the bathrooms are in the 2nd floor. The only issue is that it's busy and you might have to wait a line.
New York city is horrible. Where I live we never has issues like this. Even in majors cities you can find places restaurants that would let you
use their bathrooms for free.
I was dumbfounded when I used to play roller coster tycoon games where you could charge people to use the bathroom.
I was like thinking it's a fake thing then when I went to new York and other places I seen them charging to use a bathroom.
I think it's insane to have to pay to use a bathroom. Normally the business uses those costs as part of the administration costs.
It's just like part of doing business gotta have an office, gotta have staff recording business operations etc. You need to people to run
your business.
I assume you live in the US somewhere if this is your conclusion?

Usually, I'd pop into a Starbucks or a McD's when it gets desperate.
