$50k Working for Yourself or $75-100k Working for Someone Else? - Cap - Oct 14, 2023 Mark Cuban made the statement that he would rather work 80 hours a week to make $50k and work for himself than have a $75-100k job working for someone else. What would you rather do? For me personally, I would much rather make $50k and work for myself because in the end, you could always upscale and make a boatload more. If you are your own boss, you set your own schedule, you can grow your business beyond the $50k, and potentially even hire the $75k-100k employee if you do it right. What would you rather do? If financial stability and immediate income are your top priorities, working for someone else and earning $75,000 to $100,000 is the better choice. If you value independence and are willing to take on the risks, working for yourself at $50,000 may be more appealing. Personally I value my freedom and independence more so I will work for myself ✌ RE: $50k Working for Yourself or $75-100k Working for Someone Else? - Cap - Oct 14, 2023 (Oct 14, 2023 11:48 PM)ร乇CU尺I丅ү ™ Wrote: If financial stability and immediate income are your top priorities, working for someone else and earning $75,000 to $100,000 is the better choice. What would you rather do? I agree with MC and you. Just yesterday, I was at the office for 19 hours straight. Will I get any OT? No Will it get reflected on my performance appraisal? No Would it get reflected on my performance appraisal if I refused to do such work? YES I would be happy to make 50% of what I get as a salary working for myself. RE: $50k Working for Yourself or $75-100k Working for Someone Else? - Local Celeb - Oct 15, 2023 Money ain’t shit with nobody to share with RE: $50k Working for Yourself or $75-100k Working for Someone Else? - Godofcrypto - Oct 15, 2023 Of course, working for yourself. The sky is the limit. Otherwise, someone else will put the boundary below the sky for you. But it is not for everyone. And you have to go through working for someone else first. It's a valuable experience. RE: $50k Working for Yourself or $75-100k Working for Someone Else? - Truth - Oct 15, 2023 Someone who has been employed for a while is giving you strong evidence of submission. Only reason to work for someone else is to get enough resources to gtfo eventually. Usually its through retirement social security, pension, 401k etc But for me, I can never be that submissive, in fact, I've never worked 1 day under contract for another man. I want to eat what I kill, its a lifestyle thing RE: $50k Working for Yourself or $75-100k Working for Someone Else? - ร乇CU尺I丅ү ™ - Oct 15, 2023 (Oct 15, 2023 12:53 AM)Truth Wrote: Someone who has been employed for a while is giving you strong evidence of submission. Looks like you have want the same freedom and independence I was talking earlier. RE: $50k Working for Yourself or $75-100k Working for Someone Else? - DashPHP - Oct 15, 2023 50k is still fantastic money and will give you the means to work 80 hours a week. So I’d do just that and let my businesses overtime produce much more than that! RE: $50k Working for Yourself or $75-100k Working for Someone Else? - Cyam - Oct 15, 2023 I like Mark, but what he said was a complete joke. It was 750K and no 75-100k like you said. He said he'd rather work for himself and make $50k than working for someone else for $750k which is a fucking joke. Easy to say that when you're a fucking billionaire RE: $50k Working for Yourself or $75-100k Working for Someone Else? - Pancake Boat - Oct 15, 2023 50k working for myself. Without any second thoughts. RE: $50k Working for Yourself or $75-100k Working for Someone Else? - Hungry4Knowledge - Oct 15, 2023 I am self employed for 7 years now. I literally could not go back to being employed even if it was almost double the money. I am very easy to throw the towel in when I disagree a dickhead boss. Done it so many times in the past . Oh happy days :-) |
