I really don't fall for scams, the universal truth if it's too good to be true. It usually is.

Common Sense 1.0 the best version to run on, and honestly Common sense is an OxyMoron because common sense isn't so common.

It was supposed to be 30 in a box coming from china. They collected $35 for it. I waited for a month.
I never got it. I reported and complained to get refund was told the person closed their account.
I then see them open up a new one and I reported it and the support said this isn't the same peron.
It's different. I then got to see over the month with the new account they kept scamming people.

35 dollars for some masks???!!! thats insane

I fall for a shopping scam. It was pay on deliver and after I paid it had nothing related to the things I ordered and no refund policy as website itself was all scam. What about you?

The courier company do not allow me to open it before I pay in my region, so I paid and took the parcel. Later I came to knew I was scammed and I had no option other than to throw the parcel.

I thought it was a good deal. I communicated with the people on ali baba they were a golden member and verified.

I had so many red flags talked to my dad about it. My dad told me I should give it a try because you never know.
He kinda pushed me and talked me into it. I sent the money via moneygram which was a red flag at the start.
I knew anyone requiring you to pay thru this method you're risking to get scanned and I got scammed.

I ended up waiting a year and paid $320 for the same board. I build my own server by parts.
This was when I started my own server and started making my own websites etc. Which was many years ago.

I no longer deal with peopl rom alibab thru that experience found out ali baba doen't care. I reported that seller to customer service.
They laughed at me. That is when I found out they don't care and know that most of their golden verified sellers are scammers.
They scam people and pay to maintain their golden member status so alibaba gets their cut of the scam money.

Always pay with a credit card, credit card companies will side you with 100/100 times as long as you are honest and agree to mail back the shit you bought.

Yes If I had paid from my CC, I would had done a chargeback. But since it was paid with cash so nothing I was able to do .

I once participated in a raffle for a pair of high-end sneakers. A week later, I got an email saying I'd won, complete with the raffle's branding and everything. I was ecstatic.
It asked for a minor shipping fee, so I paid without a second thought. It was only after I never received the shoes and saw a warning post about spoofed raffle emails that I realized I'd been scammed.

Always stings knowing I fell for it, especially when it looked so legit.

Yeah, I tried, but I never heard back from VISA. It was only a few dollars, so I managed to push through, but it still annoys me.
