I refuse to use Tiktok. I watch YouTube Shorts sometimes. I'm surprised Tiktok has been able to maintain it's popularity for so long.

As everyone else is saying, TikTok's algorithm is just better. What they show me is more often entertaining to me than whats shown to me on YouTube shorts. That being said I do prefer full-form YouTube videos when I have more time i.e downtime at work or being at home other than always watching TikToks, it's entertainment but not the best stuff I've ever seen lol

Literally everyone else has already said. The algorithm is the best and knows what kind of videos that I enjoy watching. My Instagram reels are just completely unhinged and I love watching those too. Other than that, I don't have an exact answer for you

The videos are entertaining and directed at my interests. I like YouTube but I can't stand shorts. I spent too much time on tik tok and deleted it this past week.

Healthy algorithms as others say that genuinely direct your interests towards you. Which can also be negative if you’re a type to try and hide what your interests are.
However it’s rigged just like every other social site, if you really ask about the benefit though, it would simply be put as exposure.
Unlikely you’ll surpass 1-2k views if new or your content just isn’t good until you do. Takes time like any other site. But you can grow quick.
