Will Litecoin (LTC) ever see a MAJOR pump again like 2017? - jaytench - Jan 2, 2024 Long-term LTC holder here who understands all the fundamentals of the coin but I can't seem to get my head around the fact that this coin doesn't even see pumps anymore. There was once a time in 2017 you could get more than 1 ETH for a single Litecoin! And that's crazy to think about now. What's the general verdict on this? Will it ever come back to prominence again? I think everything about LTC is great but I'm giving hope on it ever getting close to ATH's again. RE: Will Litecoin (LTC) ever see a MAJOR pump again like 2017? - Truth - Jan 2, 2024 I mean from what I understand it was a pump and dump by its creator satoshi lite or bob? some asian dude who worked at coinbase and dumped at ATH. Now its just a sh*tcoin BTCers use when fees are too high. As they dont want to fix their chain or use a fork like BCH/BSV or any other sh*tcoin too much dumpster fire in the space imo, we need a black swan to rekt everything. RE: Will Litecoin (LTC) ever see a MAJOR pump again like 2017? - SIM-1866423 - Jan 2, 2024 I never see single person that cares LTC or talk about it. RE: Will Litecoin (LTC) ever see a MAJOR pump again like 2017? - Charlie Sheen - Jan 2, 2024 Litecoin was built by Charlie Lee a former Google employee. I think Litecoin will definitely pump again. I have pretty much exclusively used it all this year. It beats paying fees just to pay someone. LTC has pumped a few times since 2017. When BTC goes up, everything else will follow due to fomo. RE: Will Litecoin (LTC) ever see a MAJOR pump again like 2017? - Vitaly - Jan 2, 2024 i never understand why people marry their bags from previous cycles (especially two cycles ago) brother there are 50,000 new projects to choose from, with fresh money being injected into them and new interesting narratives to get people interested in them. the opportunity cost holding something like litecoin is insane what are the pros and cons of litecoin? i honestly see it as a coin only boomer crypto people care about (people who were around atleast from 2017 cycle). quick google of the pros and cons, its cheap and fast? there's countless other coins that are cheap and fast, it doesnt stick out at all, there is no ecosystem for litecoin or anything RE: Will Litecoin (LTC) ever see a MAJOR pump again like 2017? - jaytench - Jan 3, 2024 (Jan 2, 2024 09:31 PM)Vitaly Wrote: i never understand why people marry their bags from previous cycles (especially two cycles ago) Litecoin does what says it does. Most narratives out there are just spewed up by communities so they can pump and dump on you in the end. But yeah, the opportunity cost is right. Sometimes you invest in a project because you believe it's actually pure and not fake like security tokens like Solana. Btc is a much better investment. Don’t get me wrong, I love ltc, but I use it for daily transactions since it’s cheaper (as to do most others). But yeah, the opportunity cost is right. who cares if it does what it say it does, it has no hype or narrative to push it its like the people that throw all their time & money into making a clothing brand and think that because its really high quality clothes, or nice designs it will sell well. but the design of the clothes have been out of style for a decade and there's no demand. when they could of made a fidget spinner and changed their life RE: Will Litecoin (LTC) ever see a MAJOR pump again like 2017? - Swip3r - Jan 3, 2024 Doubtful, its a good medium of exchange at the moment compared to popular L1s.. But that's about it. I know a lot of people mining (its much more profitable to mine LTC with ASICs than BTC because there's no big big players in like Riot/Marathon etc) They dump their mined LTC for BTC, so idk. RE: Will Litecoin (LTC) ever see a MAJOR pump again like 2017? - Amnesiac - Jan 3, 2024 I use it as my main crypto as btc and eth are pointless due to fees. Do I see it pumping? No, but it should. RE: Will Litecoin (LTC) ever see a MAJOR pump again like 2017? - Kitaz - Jan 3, 2024 no, never. too many chains with better tech. ltc was good in 2017 bull when only btc and eth were top RE: Will Litecoin (LTC) ever see a MAJOR pump again like 2017? - Aeowulf - Jan 3, 2024 I'm a crypto Boomer. I prefer LTC. I don't like holding crypto as an "investment" but only for transactions. I don't care for pumps and dumps, I would like it to maintain value though. RE: Will Litecoin (LTC) ever see a MAJOR pump again like 2017? - Rahul007rhp - Jan 3, 2024 I think it will give good profits but it wont get a mega pump but still its a good investment as of now IMO RE: Will Litecoin (LTC) ever see a MAJOR pump again like 2017? - nelz - Jan 4, 2024 Damm dumped to $55, should have had a limit order set up :( |
