Largest folder on your computer? - Hackers - Jan 16, 2024
The largest folder on my computer is my Downloads folder, but only because I have a bad habit of doing Old Downloads, which lives inside an Old Downloads folder, and so on - inception style downloads. I clear it out from time to time but I've had a long streak of not doing a cleanup on my main PC this go around. I'll have to get the external HD hooked up again soon and actually take the time to sort. That said, the really important stuff is backed up so maybe I'll just nuke the large files and save whatever docs remain there.

sheesh, mine is not that large! Only 40GB
I guess if I include app data / programs / core functionality, I have others over 40GB, but for normal use folders, it's downloads for me.

I remember in the past I had something like +150GB in program folders.
Yes, this has become a bad habit of mine. But I'm trying to make amends.
I have to say, when it comes to folders on the computer, I'm getting neater.

Nice - yeah I've racked up terabytes in downloads in past. This go around I'm sitting at 40gb downloads , but this is also my work laptop, not my personal PC.
