Seeking Advice - CaptechPhD - Jan 21, 2024 How can a PhD student get hackers to anonymously participate in research? Is offering compensation really the only way? It is not always possible to get ethical approval or the funds to do this. Love to hear your thoughts. RE: Seeking Advice - LEGENDAVIE - Jan 21, 2024 I think compensation is the only reason anyone takes part in any research. I don't see any other reason why anyone would waste their time as lab rats. RE: Seeking Advice - Jamika - Jan 21, 2024 I think u should solve this ethical way, cuz being caught doing so will terminate every thing with bad way RE: Seeking Advice - Hackers - Jan 22, 2024 Depends on how many answers you need. If you are doing a small survey of 10-20 people you should be able to do that. If you need hundreds, then yeah you'd have to pay. I am happy to answer any questions you may have either via convo/pm or in a thread. We can chat on this forum (I think I need to upgrade to do this?) or on Telegram or Discord (CaptechPhD). I appreciate your point. I am hoping that some people may just be sick of the stereotypes and misconceptions and wanting to provide real information. And it doesn't even any pokes or prods, just a chat with me. So that's a bit better than being a lab rat, I think? Just like people here want a good reputation as capable hackers, my reputation as a researcher is important to me. That's fair. Sadly I guess I won't get to know your origin story. I appreciate the reply regardless. |
