Would you change the languages you know if you could snap your fingers and all of a sudden be just as skilled at a different language instead? Personally I wouldn't, but I would have probably shaved 1 year off my PHP experience in favor of something else if I could go back, but ultimately I was still using other langs even for those years of PHP so it's not a huge difference.

If I could I would snap my fingers and get rid of all programming languages but one. Why do we need so many thousands different reinvents of the wheel?

to me this is an extremely dumb concept because over time as you grow as an engineer and really if you want to call yourself anything senior+ in role, your ability to code in a language is useless but the adaptability to pick up new things as they come and go are more important. So the answer would be no and also I don't think anyone should say yes to this.

I'd snap and get rid of Javascript. Not my knowledge in Javascript but the language itself.
