People with ADHD often have what's known as "Hyperfocus," a state where they become deeply engrossed in a task, sometimes to the point of losing track of time. On the autism spectrum, individuals might have "special interests," intense and focused passions that captivate their attention and knowledge. Both showcase the remarkable and unique aspects of how minds work in the neurodiverse spectrum.

Well I have adhd and if i eat medication i have laser focus.
If i dont eat it my mind is everywhere. I can gather my self to focus on the task at hand without medicne tho, since i never eat it

It's also worth noting the comorbidity rate between ADHD & Autism is somewhere between 40-70%

I used to be mildly autistic but took medications for like most of my childhood life and now it's pretty much entirely gone. Not the ADHD and bipolar though. ;)

I was diagnosed with both at a young age, so I can confidently say that you are correct in those regards. I will hyperfocus on my special interests and give almost no interest to things I do not care about at all.
