Best language for youtube history scraper? - R3gulate - Feb 9, 2024
I'm looking to code what I believe to be a fairly simple program.
I would like the program to log into YouTube, Navigate to the YouTube history page, ensure the history button is "enabled", then scrape the information of any videos in that history list to a text document. I would like the application to repeat on a timer, so maybe every 15 minutes.
What language would be best to approach this? I have worked only with vb.net, css, php, and sql.
Or if there's anyone that would like to take this on as a project we can discuss how much this would be. Any help is appreciated.

I'd suggest something like Python with Selenium since you'll probably have to do this in-browser for YouTube. Since you have experience with VB.NET, C# might also be an option, again with Selenium. C#'s syntax is somewhat close to PHP (or any C-style language) and shares the same .NET framework with VB.NET.

VB.NET + selenium are perfect for this task.

hello i came across your profile and u look like a legit vendor i have one question Do you sell FUD crypter i have the silent miner program and it always gets detected on google anti virus etc is there any chance u sell a software which makes the silent miner undetectable so i can spread it across discord and other platforms and if yes how much does it cost thank you

I was told when using PHP to stay away from the command line using php. It's because
by doing that you could potentially allow a bad actor to get access to parts of the server
that was never intended.

Selenium if a good framework to work with for starters.
If you want to make it plain, simple and very straightforward, just use Python with Selenium.
If you want something optimized, fast, customizable and have a user interface just go with either anything that has .NET on it maybe VB or C# anything you prefer.
