So i suggest a new added bytes option
So in addition to earning from posting, you get a little (for example 0.5 or 1 bytes) for each time ur post was quoted, so more quality poster get benefit more
Only if not leading to lowering bytes value or inflation

It's a good idea. Should be useful, as long as the bytes aren't so high that it prevents abuse.

I don't think this is a great idea. Being quoted isn't always a good thing. There's a lot of arguments on here where people are quoting back and forth. Also people would definitely go in and use this to abuse the extra bytes.
If we were going to do anything, I'd say Staff members should make more use of the Best Response option. Perhaps a bytes bonus, and award at so many. We'd have to limit the number staff members could hand out in such a period of time.
Another idea would be to unlocking Best Response for Ub3rs but requiring so many votes for the commenter to win best response and monitoring it for abuse. Also limiting the number of Best Response votes allowed by a Ub3r that day.

Nb:first time to know this best response, but think making them for uber or certain members for bytes will make them a copy of ql

If you limit the number of quotes per post, could limit the abuse.
Not on board with this idea, but just giving you an idea to combat abuse in case you do.

There are Marketplace and general feedback threads that have multiple quotes in a post (>4) and your suggestion to limit quoting would do more harm than good imo.
