Insurance Tests - Laughing Man - Feb 19, 2024

I'm currently cramming for a property and casualty insurance license. I gotta be honest, this is without a doubt the most mind numbing and frustrating test. It being state regulated means they try really hard to trip you up.

Not to mention if you are trying to license in certain states, example California. Any mistakes you've made since you were 18. Regardless of disposition of the case, expungement or set aside. You must reveal it all and turn over supporting and applicable court records.

Absolutely obnoxious.

Damn man, good luck. I was asked by the company I work for if I would be willing to get a license in my state, offered a raise and the costs would be covered of course. Not for insurance, this is for GC. I said I would look into it, and I took a sample test, FAILED. Now I'm currently looking into classes. It's much like yours where they look into your background, no felonies allowed, with continuing education courses required every year. It's all such a pain in the ass but I get why they do it.

If you want convo me and I can look up a practice test with answers included and I can ask you questions to help you study.

Appreciate it, I test tomorrow.

However, my company pays for three attempts.

I'm not going to need the other two, but if I do trip up and need to test again. I'll be sure to shoot you a convo! appreciate it.

I'm a huge fan of the confidence man. You've got this bro. Just get a very quick study session in the morning for a quick refresh and best of luck man. I'm looking forward to getting the reply from you tomorrow telling me you passed!

You'll be the second to know, and yeah. I was studying at work until end of day, I've decided I'm not cramming anything more tonight. I'm going to quiz myself a bit in the morning and if I get stuck look it up and rehash it before I test.

The biggest thing that will mess people up, and we've been warned.

Doubting yourself, not finding the "key word" and second guessing yourself.

I second guess the hell out of myself and start making up reasons why multiple answers could be correct. You should see me at work trying to troubleshoot things or make up my mind on something lol. A lot of the doubt is because of how new I am to my field.

Bruh, I do it too however...

Our test is multiple choice, meaning a question and 4 options. two aren't going to apply or even remotely apply. and there will be two questions, one that is right.. and one that is almost right...

Your gut that says... this is the right answer... trust that.

Do you happen to know how many questions your test is? A friend of mine I grew up with, her husband got into insurance and then he branched off and started his own insurance agency and that guy makes a killing. He does very well. Any plans in the future for doing the same?

RE: Insurance Tests - Mаtt - Feb 19, 2024

My wife just took care of this exam for her state. It was a long 4 months for her to study, but she passed on the first try. I read through some of it and I definitely agree with the mind-numbing part. Then again, she finds my stuff mind-numbing so I guess it really depends if you have an interest in it or not.

RE: Insurance Tests - Monero-chan - Feb 20, 2024

Sounds like absolute hell, I wish you nothing but the best man hope you pass it.

I'm taking P&C Pipeline so 105 for me, full P&C with adjuster is 150ish.

Right now the company who hired me is offering me the best benefits package I've ever seen. Will I become my own boss some day? Who knows just yet.

Lucky her, I got hired in begining of Feb, so I've had about 2 and a half weeks to cram.
